Meaghan Ferguson is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) in the State of Maryland. She has a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Walden State University.
Ms. Ferguson’s experience in working with families and individuals was obtained through her work at the Baltimore City Department of Social Services for over 2 years. Working at the Baltimore City Department of Social Services afforded her the ability to determine the needs of individuals who resided in Baltimore City and the surrounding counties. Prior to obtaining her MSW, Ms. Ferguson completed an internship in an Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Center that specialized in substance abuse counseling, Co-occurring Disorders and Mental Health treatment. Ms. Ferguson has experience with case management, group facilitation, and substance abuse counseling.
As a therapist, her goal is to support families, adults, adolescents, and individuals to obtain skills and resources to reach their goals in therapy and enhance their overall wellbeing. Areas of specialization include trauma, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.
