Brigiette Lewis, LGPC
Brigiette Lewis is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in the State of Maryland. She has a Master of Education in School Counseling (2013) and Educational Leadership (2019) from Loyola University Maryland as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Children and Adolescent Studies from Chestnut Hill College (2010).
Mrs. Lewis believes that effective counseling starts with building a solid trusting and collaborative relationship with clients. In order for clients to reach their full potential, it is important for clients to feel safe and know that they are not alone. Working with clients to determine their goals for therapy, Mrs. Lewis aims to guide clients to understand that she is there to assist clients in finding the solutions to their concerns and empower them to believe in and love themselves unconditionally.
Mrs. Lewis currently serves as the Coordinator of School Counseling for the State of Maryland. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 5-25) as well as families. Mrs. Lewis has worked with children and adolescents in individual and group settings. She relies on Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assist clients with stress, anxiety, and trauma.
